Start of academic year and sanitary rules

From the start of this Fall semester, UGA welcomes students back to its campus with the objective of a 100% in-person classroom.

Sanitary rules remain in effect

Sanitary measures remain in effect to guarantee the safety of all. To protect ourselves and others, let’s keep up good habits on campus and all follow a few simple sanitary guidelines.
  • Wear a mask inside all campus buildings (hallways, lobbies, lecture halls, classrooms, during group work…).
  • Follow the preventive sanitary measures, which include social distancing, handwashing, cleaning and disinfecting equipment;

Health pass at university

The health pass (pass sanitaire) is not mandatory to attend class, use the university libraries, eat in one of the campus restaurants or work in a laboratory. The health pass may however be required to attend a cultural or sport event (except as part of your classes), even those taking place outdoors.
This pass must attest to a negative result on a COVID test or screening, a proof of vaccination, or a certificate of medical recovery. These documents may be presented in paper or digital format, on the “TousAntiCovid” mobile app, or any other digital support.

NEED A HEALTH PASS? UGA FACILITATES ACCESS TO VACCINATION AND TESTING.

In collaboration with CHUGA teaching hospital, a screening center and vaccination site will open on the Saint Martin d’Hères campus this September. These two facilities will enable UGA students to have an easy access to both testing and vaccination.

How to get the vaccine or report any sign of infection

IN CASE OF SIGNS OF COVID-19? GET TESTED AND REPORT YOURSELF!

It remains important to self-report if you are exposed to COVID (if you show a positive result on a screening test, experience COVID-like symptoms or are identified by health authorities as having been in contact with an infected individual), so that the university may organize the process of contact tracing.
