Testing for Covid-19

In Grenoble, on the St-Martin-d'Hères campus

In collaboration with the CHUGA, a screening center has opened on the St-Martin-d'Hères campus, at the "Bibliothèques Universitaires" tram stop, next to the Métrovélo agency.
Access to this screening center is free and without appointment, from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

  • If you are affiliated with the French state health insurance: you must present an ID and your "carte Vitale" or your health insurance certificate (whether temporary or permanent).
  • If you are not affiliated to the French state health insurance: you must show proof of address in France and present your student card or professional card.

Good to know
This screening center performs PCR tests only. The result is usually obtained within 24 hours. You will not be able to obtain a health pass the same day.

The different options and places for getting tested

You can get tested in a dedicated center, a laboratory, a pharmacy or by a health professional.

At a laboratory: before going there, contact the laboratory to check whether an appointment is necessary.
At a pharmacy: mainly for antigenic tests, which allow a quick result, within 15 to 30 minutes after.
By a health professional: doctors or nurses can carry out the tests, either in their office or at your home.
At the airport: check with the airport beforehand to find out about the testing procedures.

Due to the large number of vaccination appointments available each day at the Alpexpo Vaccinodrome for people over 18 years of age, appointments can now be made directly via the online appointment booking site
The appointment for the second injection of the vaccine will be made on the day of the first injection.

The second injection will take place about 42 days after, and will have to be held at the Alpexpo vaccination center.

Therefore, you must be present in Grenoble within 6 to 8 weeks after the first injection. There is no possibility to change vaccination center.
