A project proposed by the students
The Université Grenoble Alpes is one of the first universities to deploy such a device to fight against the menstrual insecurity of which some students are victims.
The students initiated the project by proposing it to the student participatory budget last spring. It won first place in the student vote with 16.2% of the votes.
The device has been implemented since the start of the 2019 school year, allowing students to find, in free access, 100% organic towels and tampons, in the toilets of several buildings on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères and Grenoble campuses.
