SOLIDARITY RATES - TAG
The
TAG network applies solidarity rates based on the family quotient of network users.
This pricing system enables you to pay for your pass
monthly at a rate adapted to your means.
Who is eligible?
Anyone can apply for this rate.
To benefit, your Caf family quotient must be 675 or less.
Depending on your quotient bracket, your monthly pass can cost from
€2.50 to
€19.70 a month.
How do I apply?
International students under the age of 25 living at the CROUS can see the
social service to apply for solidarity rates. Your tax notice is required, which means applications can only be made in the second year of residence in France. The tax return is required, therefore the application can only be made in the second year of residence with the tax notice (
more info).
International students over 25 can go directly to the mobility agency with their CAF documents.
- If you are not a Caf beneficiary
Speak to the city hall or CCAS for your neighborhood to have your family quotient calculated, and bring along the following documents:
- a piece of ID;
- your family booklet (livret de famille);
- proof of residence from the last 3 months;
- the original copy of your last tax notice in your name.

If your parents are Caf beneficiaries and benefit from its services: go to the
mobility agency with your parents' Caf proof of payment and a piece of your ID;
If your name is not on your parents' Caf certificate, you will need to bring the original copy of the last tax notice for your parents, and your family booklet (livret de famille);
If neither you nor your parents are Caf beneficiaries, go to your city hall or CCAS for your place of residence to have your family quotient calculated, bringing along your parents' last tax notice, your family booklet (livret de famille), and a piece of your ID.
