Grants for international students can be awarded by your home government or the French government. Find out more.

Sources of funding for international students vary depending on your home country. From grants from the French government and foreign governments to private initiatives, Campus France offers access to a directory of grant/scholarship programs.
  • For grants from the French government, speak to the Cooperation and Cultural Action service at the embassy or Consulate General of France in your home country.

  • The Erasmus program offers allowances for international university exchange programs in the European Union.

  • For grants from the government in your home country, speak to the public powers in charge of education in your country.

  • Grants/Scholarships from international and non-governmental organizations, associations and private foundations.

  • Some higher education institutions also offer their students grant or scholarship programs - speak directly to the school where you wish to study.

  • IDEX Université Grenoble Alpes - Master scholarships (academic year 2019-2020).
On the Campus France website, it is possible to carry out multiple criteria searches on almost all grant/scholarship programs available to foreign students and young researchers.
