Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus - CVEC

As of fall 2018, students enrolled as traditional students must pay the Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Campus, or CVEC. This contribution is designed to finance the range of services available to students for health care, sports, culture and student initiatives.

The CVEC is a tax collected by the CROUS for an amount of €95.

Payments are made online at cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr or via the mes services étudiants portal

WHO HAS TO PAY THE CVEC?

Students enrolled as traditional students in a higher education institution must obtain a certificate of payment or exemption from the CVEC in order to register at their higher education institution.
Exemptions:
  • Recipients of grants based on social criteria, beneficiaries of an annual allocation granted as part of a CROUS special aid, and grant recipients in health and social service industries in the region.
