Grenoble has a wide range of transport outside the city, making it easy to travel between your home and place of study.

THE cars Région BUS NETWORK

cars Région has lots of bus lines with local stops, for traveling anywhere you need in the Isère department, including winter sports resorts! There are lots of different rates available, depending on your user type and the number of zones you travel through.

There are also passes available for 1 day, 1 month and 1 year in an eco-friendly package for students under 26 (requires 1 photo ID, 1 copy of your ID, 1 copy of your student card).

TER-TAG PASS

The SNCF, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, the SEMITAG and their partners offer students in Grenoble options to make travel easier. An all-inclusive package (train, tram, bus, carpooling, coach) can be bought online for getting to Grenoble and anywhere else in France.

Two types of offer are available:

  • an offer for students traveling primarily by foot
  • an offer for students who use lots of public transport
