Orchestre des Campus de Grenoble (Campus Orchesra)

The Orchestre des Campus de Grenoble is an ensemble of roughly 80 musicians. Every musician with a good level who wants to practice music in a real symphonic orchestra is welcome!
The orchestra is primarily composed of students, and university and research staff, and supervised by professional section directors.

MUSICAL ENSEMBLE

In 2018-2019, the OCG took on a permanent director, Pierre-Adrien Théo, who will take us on a journey - musically and maybe more - for the next three years. A director who won over the orchestra's musicians in three movements: Symphonic metal, late 2016, Tchaikovsky, late 2017, and Bernstein and Gershwin in May 2018!

In May 2019, it was back to the MC2 as part of a long-term collaboration with the Musiciens du Louvre, and a program ranging from Offenbach's Grand Concerto for Cello, to Faure's Pelléas et Mélisande and Debussy's ultra-famous Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune.
